Sub: Appeal letter for consideration for an re-interview.
Dear Sir,
This is with reference to my interview that was scheduled in your organization on 23rd of May. I was late by nearly 4 hours for the interview and was told that the interview panel is not available due to their prior commitments and hence, my candidature is being rejected.
I appeal to you consider the fact that it was on that morning itself, a complete transport strike was called making it nearly impossible for me to travel all the way from the other part of the city.
I managed to reach the venue with great difficulty. While I understand that I was too late for the interview, I request you to consider my situation before coming to any decision.
