A College Library – Paragraph Writing

A library is a room or a building in which books, newspapers, magazines, and journals are kept so that people can read, use or borrow. A college library is a part and parcel of a college. It is said to be the store house of knowledge. One can enrich one’s intelligence, mentality in a college library. Generally, every college has a rich or poor library. Our college also has a library which is very rich. Our college library is well-decorated. There are two big rooms. The one room is a reading room. Boys and girls have the same room. In the other room, books are arranged in almirahs. Books are arranged serially and alphabetically.

So everybody can easily find out the book he needs There are about 2,000 books in the library. Every year new books are bought. It contains some rare books. Students have issued library cards to borrow books from the library. A student can borrow two or three books at a time and can keep them at home for a week. But in the reading room, he is allowed to read as many books as he can. It remains open from 9 a. m. to 5.p. m. except on holidays. Our college library is a great attraction for us. We are really proud of our college library.
