Sir,
We, the inhabitants of Uzani under Barkurui Union, beg to draw your kind attention to the fact that you know that there is a problem of arsenic in tube-well water in many parts of Bangladesh. Arsenic poisoning has been detected to be present in tube-well water of our village. There is not a single tube-well from where. people can get arsenic-free water. For taking this water a large number of people have already been affected with sore, stomach troubles, etc. If proper steps are not taken, it may break out into epidemic form.
In these circumstances, we hope and pray that you would be kind enough to take necessary steps to remove this problem and save the lives of the sufferers.
