Dear Mr. Paul,
It was with deep sorrow that we came across the news of the sad demise of your wife Mary Smith. It is a very difficult period in your life and we know that no word can heal the wound but it is the destiny which is not in our hands.
Your wife was a very genuine and kind person and it will off course be difficult to fill the void in your life created by her death, but you will have to be patient as your kids are still young. For their sake you will have to put up a brave front.
