Change the following passage into indirect speech.

Answer: The old man told his sons that a great treasure lay hidden in the estate and added that he was about to leave them. Being curious, the sons asked his father where it was hidden. The old man replied the he was about to tell therp and added that they had to dig the land for it.

Mother disagreed and said that she (M) was sent to learn to read and write. But Mansiv sulkily replied that she would not read and write. Mother insisted that she (M) would read and write.

Answer: Addressing Hasan, the teacher told him that SSC Examination was knocking at the door’ and asked him (H) how his preparation was. Hasan respectfully replied that his preparation was well and Allah was confident of his performance in the examination. Then the teacher prayed that Allan might bless him (H). Hasan respectfullythanked him (t).

Answer: The teacher asked Bipro why he (B) was late. He (t) said that he (t) did not like that Bioro Politely said that on the way there had been heavy traffic jam. The teacher advised him to be on time.
