Subject: sympathy for illness

Dear Lee,

I hope this letter finds you well. I was told of your illness from Grandma. I quite sympathize for your viral fever, considering that I have felt the discomforts of being in your position. I wish that a speedy recovery would put you out of your misery.

I wish that I could do something to ease your pain, however, rest assured that you are present in our thoughts and prayers. Though we are living far away, distance could never affect our bond. I think of you often, and of all the fun we have had at Grandma’s house. Hope to meet you soon. Be strong enough to keep your spirits high and keep fighting against the virus.

Do rest and have your medicines regularly. Get well soon. Do inform me if in case you need any help.

Do take care of yourself. All my best wishes are with you.

Get well soon.

Yours faithfully,

Roger Bernard
