The Happiest Day of My Life

Introduction: Everyman remembers his glowing. incident of life. I have a shining incident in my life which often rouses in me. My first day at college is the most memorable day of my life. I had many interesting stories about college life from my elder brother and sisters.

Preparation for the college: I had long been anxiously waiting for my first day at college. At last the-memorable day came. It was the 10th august 2005. When I was about to leave for the college, my joys knew no bounds. I had my meal well ahead of time and put on my best clothes on that day.

My first entrance:  At 9.30 a.m. I reached the college premise of Chandina Redwan Ahmed Degree College, Comilla with new hopes and aspiration. r went to attend my classes in college for the first time. I was charmed to see a fine building. I understand that a new experience had tarted in my life.

Meeting students and collecting routine: The college campus was full of students. They were all unknown to me. I was moving here and there. At last, I found a friend of mine. He Looks me to the notice board. He told me to take down the routine.

My first period at first day: After a while, the college bell rang. I entered into a big roo1n. Just after a second, a fair looking gentleman appeared before us. I came to know that he was the profes·sor of English. He called over the rolls. Then there followed a friendly discussion. He treated us as his equals and friends and spoke in a polite manner. I listened to his words with rapt attention. I found a great difference between a school teacher and a college teacher. Then the bell rang.

Other classes: We changed our classroom with the ringing of the bell. We ran to our next class room to occupy the seat in the first bench. It was our Bengali class. I enjoyed the class pleasantly. I was attracted most by the method of teaching. One teacher never teaches two subjects.

Other experiences: When the classes were over, I went to the college library. It is a big library. The students were reading attentively there. I also went to college common room. I visited different departments. Out of curiosity. I peeped into the principal’s room, the professor’s room and the office room. At last, I had a cup of tea in the college canteen. At 4 pm. I left the college with a mind full of joy and new experience.

Conclusion: This opened an unexpected chapter in my life. The entire scene still haunts my mind. And l consider it the most memorable day of my life. This day hall remains evergreen in my life.
