Introduction: Bangladesh is a wonderful land, decked, with six seasons. Spring is one of them. This glorious season has been called the king of all seasons, the vernal season, the seas9n of joy and festivity. Because of its charm beauty and pleasantness, I like this season-best.

A season with a difference: Spring is the crown of all other seasons. Spring follows the dull, dreary and bleak winter. It arrives with the call of the cuckoo, bringing forth colour, beauty, fragrance, splendour and gravity. The season is quite pleasant and comfortable in comparison to the hot sweltering humidity of the summer and the dampness of the monsoons. As this gentle, yet’ short-lived season sets in people breath a sigh of relief and welcomes it with open arms.

Nature of the season: With the advent of the spring I season, nature turns over a new leaf. It seems then that every object of nature reborn becomes fresh, bright and lively. The leafless bare trees start decorating themselves with baby soft new leaves of different shades from light green to soft pink. Gardens with trees and bushes bloom in splendour with various coloured buds and flowers. It is in this charming season that the eye-catching gay display of the bright coloured flowers presents a fascinating sight. The weather stays calm, soothing and pleasant. Bees are seen to be extra busy, bumminR and buzzing from flower to flower in search of nectar. Honey bees and bumble bees hovering over flowers is a very familiar sight in the season of spring. Gay coloured-fluttering butterflies also add colour in the season.

Sights and sounds of the season: With the arrival of the spring the weather changes, bringing in a gentle and fragrant breeze from the south. The soft breeze becomes heavy and balmy with the sweet scent of various known and unknown flowers. The whole nature gives a festive look of a bridal procession. The golden sunshine, the gentle breeze, the chirping of the birds, all create an enchanting atmosphere with its special melody. A great number of birds of different species, sizes and colours sing and Twitter, adding to the glory of the season to a great extent. The haunting call of the cuckoo pulls the heartstrings of romantic minded people.

Effect of the season: The beautiful sights and sound of. this charming season exercises a great influence on the spring season delights the humble people of our land. To some extent, the season does release them from the dreariness and discomforts. The season has a refreshing and revitalising effect on all and sundry. The industrious farmers of our country prepare themselves a new for the laborious period of tilling, sowing and weeding.

Conclusion: The season . of spring along with its vivacity, joy and colour is extremely short-lived. In spite of that this season makes our land enhancing with colourful flora and fauna, joy and loveliness. That is why like most others I like this season-best.
