Re: application of transfer

Dear Ms. Lee,

The intent of this letter is to request a transfer from my position at XYZ Inc. to a similar position at XYZ Inc located in Dallas, Colorado. The reason for my request to transfer is my partner relocation.

I have enjoyed working here for the past 5 years and held several positions at XYZ, which have given me an excellent overview of the company’s operations. The vast experience and knowledge of company’s operations gained here would make me an added advantage to XYZ Inc in Dallas.

I have attached a copy of my resume for your convenience. Thank you for your consideration and assistance in this matter. If you need any additional information, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Christopher Turner
