Subject: Prayer for extension of leave.
Sir,
I beg most respectfully to state that I took three day’s casual leave from 6. 2. 2020 to 8. 2. 2020 because of my illness. But now I have been confined to bed with a high fever. After diagnosis, the doctor had prescribed me that l have been suffering from typhoid. He has also prescribed me that it may take about two weeks to recover.
May, therefore pray and hope that you would be kind enough to extend my leave up to 20.2.2020 and oblige thereby. Yours faithfully
