Dear Mr. Johnson,

Re:Applying for marriage leave

I am glad to inform you that my marriage ceremony is scheduled on April 10, 2018. I request you to please grant me marriage leave from April 1, 2018 to April 20, 2018

with duration of 20 days. Since there will be many guests, relatives and family members attending my wedding and reception, they planned to conduct small celebrations at home such as bridal ceremony, etc which requires my presence.

Apart from this, I also have to make arrangements for wedding invitations, venue and travel arrangements.

I will also send a wedding invitation to you and our staff members who will be my special guests to my wedding and I shall surely look forward to see all of you.

Please grant me your approval and certainly make it convenient to attend my wedding.

Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Benz Mathew
