My Childhood Memories

Hints: Introduction, Nature around me, Some of my feelings. My reaction. The painful event, Conclusion.

Introduction: Childhood is the very first tenure of every man. In other words, it is the sweetest and most memorable period in one’s whole life. In this period everybody is out of worldly weariness. Childhood memories are the most pleasant to a man.

Natural around me: The memories of childhood are still bright in my mind. When I was a small boy, I would go to the bank of the river Jamuna. There were many big trees on the bank of the river and various kinds of birds would always sing there. Their natural scenery would attract me. I tried to climb up the trees to get the kinds of birds. I made house with the branches of small trees. I will never forget the pleasure that I got in my childhood.

Some of my feelings: In summer, I as well as my friend felt thrilling in stealing mangoes. We were also fond of stealing litchis, black harry, pineapples, and coconuts. When the owner of these trees complained to my mother, she scolded me and I never forgot it.

My reaction: These events flash upon my mind’s eye when I am alone and I lose myself in deep thought. Sometimes these memories appear to me as the happiness of heaven.

Never do I forget the memory receive in mind and heart. Even now when I am in tranquillity, I revive my past memory with great eagerness and homage. As the days I will live I will bear the pleasure of my childhood.

The painful event: But all my Memories are not sweet and calming some are very painful and heartrending. The death of my grandfather is one of them. One morning I heard the sound of crying from my grandpa’s room. We rushed to the room an found that he was no more. I was greatly shocked at it.

Conclusion: Excepting a few shocking events, my childhood days were happy and sweet enough. Would that I had my childhood again.
