Introduction: The place for which. I feel proud most is my native village. The place I remember most is my native village. The place that appeals to my mind most deeply and most passionately is the memory of my native village. It is my precious life-blood, it is my consolation in the midst of countless sufferings, it is my life an death, it is my whole being.
Description: The name of my native village is ‘Baluchar’ in which I was born brought up, nourished and grown up. It is under Daudkandi Upazila in the district of Comilla. The road that runs to Daudkandi goes through the heart of the village twelve kilometers away from. Daudkandt Pouroshava. It is three kilometers long.
People and profession: Almost five thousand people live in our village. They are farmers, carpenters, tailors, blacksmiths, teachers, doctors, professors, engineers, businessmen, and day-laborers. There are Muslims and non-Muslims in our village. The villagers are of different occupations and casts and creeds, but they all love and respect one another. Their way of life is simple. Sweet is their words and honesty are their deeds.
Institutions: Our village is rich in educational, religious and social institutions. There are two primary schools, a high school, a madrasah, two, mosques, a temple, market and a health center in our village. People of all classes are benefited by these institutions.
Conclusion: . In trade and commerce, our village is much advanced. People are involved in jaree, sharee, jatra, circus, etc. My native village is a dreamy one. It is the holiest place for me forever.
