Re-write the following passage using capitalization and punctuation:

Example – 01

yesterday we all went to visit one of our uncles house at shafipur we spent the day eating delicious food and roaming around it took us about five hours to come back due to heavy traffic.

Answer: Yesterday, we all went to visit on of our uncles’ house at Shafipur. We spent the day eating delicious food and roammg around. It took us about five hours to come back due to heavy traffic.

Example – 02

once some merchants were going to bagdad from jilan bagdad was far away from jilan a woman came to the merchants with her son she said to them my son will go to bagdad to study will you take him with you.

Answer: Once some merchants were going to Bagdad from Jilan. Bagdad was far away from Jilan. A woman came to the merchants with her son. She said to them, “My son will go to Bagdad to study. Will you take him with you?”

Example – 03

alexander the great was the king of macedonia he was the son of philip a mighty king of sparta he invaded india about 327 years before the birth christ on the way he defeated porus and marched towards the puajab.

Answer: Alexander the Great was the king of Macedonia. He was the son of Philip, a mighty King of Sparta. He invaded India about 327 years before the birth of Christ On the way, he defeated Porns and marched towards the Punjab.

Example – 04

whats the time by your watch he said it is half past nine i replied i want 1to go tp school he said would you accompany me please no i am sorry

Answer: “What’s the time by your watch?” he said. “It is half past nine,” I replied. “I want to go to school,” he said. “Would you accompany me please?” “No, I am sorry.”

Example – 05

what can i teach you asked nasiruddin we dont know replied the students.

Answer: “What can I teach you?” asked Nasiruddin. “We don’t know,”repliedthe students.

Example – 06

mustafiz said hurry up we must have to have this horrible place now.

Answer: Mustafiz said, “Hurry up. We must have to havethis horrible place now.”

Example – 07

what kind of stories will you tell asked the student fables replied the teacher do you know what fables are no replied the student

Answer: ”What kind of stories will you tell?” asked the student. “Fables,” replied the teacher. “Do you know what fables are?” “No,” replied the student.

Example – 08

the man said can you give me some food ive been starving for two days the maid said why do you beg cant you work

Answer: The man said, “Can you give me some food? I’ve been starving for two days.” The maid said, “Why do you beg? Can’t you work?”

Example – 09

mother said to her son tell me why you are wasting your time be punctual and dutiful in your life

Answer: Mother said to her son, “Tell me why you are wasting your time. Be punctual and dutiful in your hfe.”

Example – 10

my friend said to me why are you sitting alone in your room at this hour dont you see that the sky is clear

Answer: My friend said to me. “Why are you sitting alone in your room at this hour? “Don’t you see that the sky is clear?”
