Re-write the following passage using capitalization and punctuation:

Example – 11

Kamal dont be so silly he will come soon said rimon we need not wait for him he failed to keep his words replied kamal

Answer: “Kamal, don’t be so silly. He will come soon.” said Rim on. “We need not wait for him. He failed to keep his words.” replied Kamal.

Example – 12

have you bought the pen said selina yes said salam the pen is very interesting.

Answer: “Have you bought the pen?” said Selina. “Yes,” said Salam. “The pen is very interesting.”

Example – 13

hello old lady said the princess what are you doing i am spinning a yam around the spindlle replied the old woman the princess curiously said how interesting it would be if you let me have a go

Answer: “Hello, old lady” said the princess. “What are you doing” ”I am spinning a yarn around the spindle.” replied the old woman. The princess curiously said. “How interesting it would be if you let me have a go!”

Example – 14

have you finished reading the book said runa yes said rana the book is very interesting

Answer: Have you finished reading the book?” said Runa. “Yes.” said Rana. “The book is very interesting.”

Example – 15

do you think it is easy to pass english said musa no said rana but why are you so careless o english i dont feel interest in the subject oh i see

Answer: “Do you think. it is easy to pass English?” said Musa. “No,” said Rana. “But why are you so careless of English?” “I don’t feel interest in the subject.” “Oh, I see.”

Example – 16

shamim said to karim i went to your house yesterday but did not find you where did you go

Answer: Shamim said to karim, “I went to your house yesterday, but did not find you. Where did you go?”

Example – 17

the teacher said to rafiq why are you talking in the class you should behave yourself rafiq replied sir i am sorry i am a sking karim to lend me his pen my pen has run out the teacher said be attentive and listen to my lecture

Answer: The teacher said to Rafiq. “Why are you talking in the class? You should behave yourself.” Rafiq replied “Sir, I am sorry. I am asking karim to lend me his pen. My pen ran out”. The teacher said.” Be attentive and listen to my lecture.”

Example – 18

what is the time by your watch sir he said its half past nine i replied i want to go to college he said

Answer: What is the time by your watch, sir?” he said. “It’s half past nine,” I replied. “I want to go to college.” he said.

Example – 19

give me a few garins of corn the grasshopper said to the ant

Answer: “Give me a few grains of corn.” the Grasshopper said to the Ant.

Example – 20

the old man said can you give me some· food ive been starving for two days the maid said why do you beg cant you work

Answer: The old man said, “Can you give me some food? I’ve been starving for two days.” The maid said,” Why do you beg? Can’t you work?”
