Dear father,

I have not heard from you for a long time. I have come to learn from newspapers that all villages of our locality are now underwater. The bus communication from Dhaka to Camilla being disrupted, I cannot come to see the actual situation. I am really anxious to know the latest condition of our village and particularly all about our homesteads.

Please, write to me soon about the present flood situation.
